Water supply comes from 133Ha of which about 102Ha is from the very popular and well managed CBR Irrigation Scheme (From the Breede Rivier and Brandvlei Dam) core quota , 21HA from the CBR exchange quota. A small allocation (about 10Ha) from the Poortjieskloof Dam. Some of the irrigation is under self-pressure with no pumping required but a manmade ground dam is used for storage, to pump some of the water uphill, where required.
Perfectly situated on the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains, these farms enjoy the breath-taking views over the surrounding mountains. These mountains not only provide spectacular views, it also protects against high winds and extreme elements.
